Artist-in-Residence

In the Spring semester of 2018, Frontera Wesley hosted it's inaugural artist-in-residence, celebrated poet, educator and activist Raie Crawford. If you are an artist who is interested in spending some time with us in Tucson, we would love to hear from you.

Tucson is home to the UofA Poetry Center, widely believed to be the largest poetry collection in the world. For artists who are interested in resting and writing in the Sonoran Desert, we can offer accommodations for stays of up to two weeks within walking distance of the Poetry Center, the University of Arizona, Pima Community College Downtown, and many of the coffee shops and restaurants where grad students settle in to focus.
